Antica Spilla : Satsuma -  ( Ceramica Giapponese ) -

Caratteristiche degli antichi e autentici pezzi Satsuma sono la pasta bianca con invetriatura color avorio e una sobria decorazione a colori tenui limitata a piccoli campi della superficie. Nella seconda metà del Settecento la decorazione a smalti colorati si arricchì di ornamenti trattati a doratura che sottolineavano disegni di paesaggi, fiori e uccelli.

Features of the ancient and authentic Satsuma pieces are white pasta with glaze ivory and a sober decoration in soft colors limited to small surface areas. In the second half of the eighteenth century decoration in colored enamels was enriched with ornaments treated golden brown that emphasized drawings of landscapes, flowers and birds.

Un uomo di grande visione e le realizzazioni, è ora riconosciuto come uno dei fondatori della American Wearable Art Movement, un movimento importante nella storia dell'arte americana che comprende altri artisti molto importanti come Sam Kramer, Arte Smith e Paul Lobel, che è studi sono stati passi dal Franchi. Altri nomi famosi all'interno del movimento sono Alexander Calder, Magaret De Patta, Peter Macchiarini, e Harry Bertoia per citarne alcuni.

Today, the creations of Francisco Rebajes live. His work has been exhibited in museums around the world, including the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC. A great vision and achievements of man, is now recognized as one of the founders of the American Wearable Art Movement, an important movement in American art history that includes other important artists like Sam Kramer, Art Smith and Paul Lobel, who studies were steps from the Franks.
